Who is getting married? -Steve, Long Island

Hey Steve, thanks for writing in with a super helpful question. Dan and Mariah are getting married.

Is Steve ok? When is the wedding? -Amanda F., Orlando

Be nice. The wedding is on Sept 19th 2026. Ceremony at 2:30 Reception at 4.

Where is the wedding? -MIYOKO JAPAN

Oh hello MIYOKO JAPAN! The ceremony will be at 2:30 pm at Summit Rock in NYC's Central Park, near the W 85th St. entrance. The reception will be at 4pm at Home Studios in Union Square (873 Broadway NY, NY)

How do we get there?? -Aiden, SATC

Sweet Aiden. For the ceremony, you can take the subway (B or C train) north from your hotel to W 86th St. or you can take a cab or uber to 85th and Central Park West, or if you're driving you can try to find parking near 85th and CPW, and walk from there. For the reception from the ceremony, you can take the B to the Q train to 14th St. Union Square and walk, or you can uber/taxi to 873 Broadway (18th St., NW corner)

Can I park my car somewhere? -Babs, CT

Yes, Babs. There is street parking (some metered, some not, all generally hard to find) and plenty of parking garages at both locations.

What is Home Studios? Is it a theater or something? -Jill, AZ

Great question, Jill. At least someone is thinking...! From the street it might be a little confusing because the entrance looks a bit like the entrance to an office building. We'll have signs up though, so don't worry. When you get to the NW corner of 18th St. and Broadway just pass the ice cream shop and it will be on your left.

What's the story with the building? -Jill

Someone's got a lot of questions today I see. The building was originally built in 1868 to be an enormous department store, and it's now filled with gorgeous old loft spaces.

Last question, I promise. My husband Ian is going to be very hungry but he has a sensitive tummy. What can he eat?- Jill

We will have food that can accomodate pretty much anyone's dietary issues, but definitely email one of us with specifics and we'll make sure to take that into consideration.

I heard that the ceremony will be standing room only. Is that true? I have bad knees. -Grandma James

Aw, gma! Well, yes, the ceremony will be both short and standing. It's in Central Park and we're not allowed to set up chairs. It really won't be a long ceremony though, so hopefully you'll be ok. But, if you really need a chair, please let us know and we will be sure to arrange to have some lawn chairs available for those who've let us know in advance that they will need one.
